Latin America Is Already Speaking VR. Is Your City Listening?

If you walked through almost any city in Latin America on a Saturday afternoon, you would notice something: people don't just want to watch entertainment. They want to be inside it. They want to run, laugh, dodge, and celebrate with the people next to them — not scroll past a screen alone.

That's exactly the world BATTLE START was built for. And it's why we've set ourselves a very clear ambition: we want a BATTLE START free-roam VR arena in every major Latin American city, in every country across the region.

It's a decision built on numbers we simply can't ignore.
Latin America is home to roughly 665 million people — real people who already love shared, in-person entertainment: birthday parties, corporate events, weekend adventures with friends. A regional market of that scale is impossible to overlook.

For a company built around bringing people together in the same physical space, that number is the reason our expansion plan doesn't stop at any single border.

We're Already on the Ground — Not Just Talking About It

BATTLE START partners are already welcoming players across Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, and Panama — 32 VR clubs and counting at the time of writing.

That's not a plan for "someday." Guests are stepping into our arenas across the region right now — celebrating birthdays, running corporate team-building sessions, and discovering free-roam VR for the very first time.

And if there's one thing we've learned working with our Latin American partners specifically, it's this: instead of simply adopting new technology, they push it forward.

Argentina Opened the Door to Outdoor VR

Here's a fact we're genuinely proud of: the very first BATTLE START Mixed Reality Arena — our open-air, outdoor free-roam format — opened in Argentina.

Our partner, the owner of Liminal Play, looked outside and asked a simple question: why not bring the adventure into the open air? The result is a format players clearly love — combining fresh air, physical movement, and full immersion in a way that feels completely different from a traditional VR session.

You can see it in action here:

Latin America Knows How to Turn Immersion Into Profit

Enthusiasm is great. But we know that as a potential partner, you care about something more concrete: does this actually make money?

Here's our answer. Across our global network of more than 450 open arenas, Arena Pro in Buenos Aires consistently holds the top spot for profitability. Not "one of the best." The best. And right behind it, pushing hard to close the gap, is Liminal Play in Rosario.

Two arenas, one country, both fighting for first place in the BATTLE START network. And the rest of this remarkable region is moving just as fast: earning, opening new locations, and claiming their place in the entertainment market.

That's a signal about how well free-roam VR fits the way people in Latin America already like to spend their time and money.

Real Support, in Real Spanish

We don't think "we speak Spanish" should mean a translated FAQ page and nothing else.

If you've spoken with our team before, there's a good chance you already know Gregory — our Spanish-speaking manager who works directly with partners across the region.
No translation apps. No waiting for someone to relay your questions in another time zone. Just direct, clear conversations in the language you're most comfortable working in — from your very first inquiry through daily operations after launch.

By the way, if you haven't watched the podcast with Gregory yet, we'd recommend catching up.

Here's the first part of our most honest conversation about the VR business (including in Latin America):
And here's the second part:

Free-Roam VR Games In Spanish

Latin America doesn't speak with one voice, and we know that.

But when we looked at where to start, the math was clear: Spanish is the single largest language group across the region, spoken in every country we currently operate in. So that's exactly where we focused first, and we didn't stop at subtitles.

BATTLE START is the only free-roam VR game developer that fully localizes its games into Spanish — not just on-screen text, but complete voiceover as well. It's a serious investment, and one we felt was worth making before anyone else did.

A Sneak Peek: Something New Is Coming for Summer 2027

We don't usually share things this early. But this one felt too fun to keep completely quiet.

We're already working on a new VR game planned for the 2027 summer season, and this time, the inspiration is unmistakably Latin American.
We're not ready to reveal the name just yet. But we'll give you this: think color, energy, fiesta spirit, and an adventure built for players who love celebrating loudly and playing together.

Think you can guess what we're calling it? Drop your best ideas — we might just tell you if you're close.

Look at the Map. Then Ask Yourself: Why Not My City?

Take a look at BATTLE START's current map of open arenas, and you'll notice something quickly: there are still plenty of blank spaces across Latin America.

Every one of those gaps is a city where people already want this kind of experience — they just don't have anywhere to get it yet.

You don't have to take our word for how well this works. Visit one of our partner arenas yourself. Watch a group walk in curious and leave already planning their next visit. See how a party room fills up on a Saturday, or how a corporate team ends up laughing together instead of sitting through another forced team-building exercise.
