Unfortunately, we didn't expand our list of countries in May, but we still added new franchisees to the BATTLE START ecosystem. And there's plenty of exciting news here.

What makes this partnership with an Australian entrepreneur so special?
First of all, it's the first mobile MR arena on the continent.
Second, the VR business was launched by Paul 'Macca' McMahon – a local entrepreneur from Warrnambool. Called nothing less than an entertainment mogul, Paul 'Macca' McMahon has built a reputation for his grit and his commitment to family-run business. He used to own a popular indoor go-karting center in Warrnambool that ran for nearly 40 years. But Paul was forced to close it in 2020 due to the pandemic fallout and changing kids' habits ("kids got too iPad-dependent," he says).
Why Paul chose BATTLE START:
After the go-karting center closed, he kept working in entertainment – until he found his "winner": virtual reality. So, in 2026, all of our shooters have taken the lead. The most replayable one – Tactics – is in first place for a reason. Competing in this game on a regular basis has become a habit for most of our regulars. There are even official tournaments held for Tactics.
Now let's look at the stats by country. We found it interesting, and we hope you will too. This is the May summary.

🇦🇪 If you look at the data from the UAE, they also love team-vs-team competition. However, the PvE mode is still closer to their hearts, so players in the United Arab Emirates kill zombies with slightly more enthusiasm.
🇺🇸 Right now you're probably not surprised, but in the USA, they love fighting in Vegas-themed locations the most. Our zombie shooter confidently leads in this part of the world. And we're proud of that popularity.
🇦🇷 As for our shooter with 8 completely different maps and a wide range of unique avatar abilities – we noticed maximum popularity for this game in Argentina.
What about Family-Friendly Adventures?
So are there really no countries where bloodless content is more popular? Of course there are! For example:
🇮🇹 Our very first BATTLE START game, Party, is still chosen most often in Italy. And this is probably the most telling stat of everything we've shared today. The game is over 4 years old, and people still love it. Both adults and kids still play it with genuine joy. That's what quality, well-thought-out content looks like!
🇷🇸 The 2024 release – Party 2 – is most often chosen by guests of VR clubs in Serbia. And we totally get it! The BATTLE START team often plays it during lunch breaks on our own arena.
🇩🇪 The hit from last winter – Magic Party – keeps getting booked again and again on VR fields in Germany.
🇫🇮 And here's a country whose residents can rightfully be called lovers of balance. It's surprising, but the numbers for shooters and family adventures are absolutely even. And that belongs to the people of Finland.
What conclusions to draw from all this is up to you. Personally, we're just happy that our clients love both our newest releases and our oldest ones. It just proves that developing free-roam VR games across the widest possible range of genres was absolutely the right decision.
